The profit / loss reports provided Brandes’ clients, Brokers and executives with up to date status on accounts, portfolios, products, markets, etc. and included reports such as: Portfolio performance, overview and details, Broker Portfolio Holdings, Profit Loss Statements, Client Statistics, Portfolio Trending, Broker Commission Detail, and numerous others. Coded stored procedures in SQL for production data on PACE Data Warehouse system. Designed DTS packages and stored procedures on production servers to transfer data between Rebalance, Trading and Data Warehouse applications, as well as from legacy Informix systems to the new SQL Server systems. Worked with cross functional team to elicit business user requirements. Programmed in Visual Basic, Data Dynamics Active Reports 2.0, SQL Server and Informix stored procedures. All code and documentation underwent extensive peer, prototype, design and code reviews. Excellent communication skills with both business and technical associates.
Knowledge Alchemy September 2000 to November 2001
Developed in-house software system for this high-tech consulting company. Business application increased company’s ability to process and manage expanding client and candidate base. Application increased Knowledge Alchemy productivity through fast and efficient data entry of new candidates and clients and accessible customer records to maintain up to date information. Programmed and file I/O and client and candidate questionnaire objects in C++. Provided application support and on-going application enhancements based on user input. Developed technical user documentation.
